WhatsApp, the instant messaging platform, has reportedly started rolling out a native app for Apple CarPlay to beta testers enrolled in the iOS beta programme. The new app is said to allow drivers to check the contact they recently interacted with on WhatsApp. However, it might not let users open chat windows, which could be a driving hazard, forcing them to stop their cars and access the same through their phones. The “dedicated” chat list is said to show contacts that the user interacted with on the platform in the past 20 to 25 days.
